Both analog cameras and network cameras are mainstream products used in various industries today, so how much do we know about them while using them, and what is the difference between the two?

Network camera (digital camera) simply means that the camera itself directly converts the captured images through CCD and internal circuits into digital signals, which can be directly transmitted through network cables and switches, thus easily realizing remote monitoring. An analog camera simply converts the image into an analog signal, which is transmitted through a coaxial cable, and is generally used for closed-circuit monitoring. The differences between analog cameras and network cameras are as follows:

1. Clarity
Network camera: Progressive scan (up to one million or even ten million pixels), which is more suitable for capturing moving targets, and can provide clear images even at high moving speeds.

Analog camera: Interlaced scan (resolution 4CIF, the highest can only reach 400,000 pixels), under the capture of high-speed moving objects, it will cause the image to be blurred.

2. Monitoring
Network camera: Built-in WEB, using a standard WEB browser on a PC, you can manage and view images. Ability to remotely manage and view images. The network camera can store the image data on the remote hard disk, which is easy to search, easy to store, and will not be destroyed.

Analog camera: closed circuit, can only be monitored internally, not remotely. The video data can only be stored locally, and cannot be viewed remotely, which can easily be destroyed by criminals.

3. Bandwidth
The biggest advantage of the network camera is the simple wiring, which can be unified and centralized transmission through the switch.

The analog camera needs to be based on the network bandwidth, and it is necessary to consider whether the actual on-site network bandwidth is supported.

4. Integration
Network camera: Multi-screen management software is shared to realize multi-channel monitoring, the number of channels is not limited, and the hardware cost is not increased.

Analog camera: DVR (the number of channels has a certain limit) to increase the front end requires an increase in cost.

5. Security
Network camera: Encrypt the signal, high-security digital certificate, you can add "watermark" information. Not Xun affects the distance and causes the image quality to deteriorate.

Analog camera: low security, the image is subject to the transmission distance of the image.

In summary, network cameras can be said to surpass traditional analog cameras in an all-round way. Due to the essential difference in their working principles, analog camera technology is developing.

Various bottlenecks and limitations have appeared in the Internet, and the outstanding features of network cameras overcome these limitations. At present, network cameras have been developed in China for several years, and the future is definitely

It is also the world of network cameras.
