Today, the smart vision industry has fully entered a 4K upgrade cycle. In scenarios such as transportation hubs, large-scale campuses, urban security systems, and port construction sites, the focus is no longer solely on image clarity; instead, there are multiple stringent requirements for image acquisition, intelligent analysis, signal transmission, and device integration stability. Kaimorui has independently developed the KC9440M 4K integrated module, which is delivered as a complete set together with the CM2004SH encoding and control board, creating an integrated hardware pipeline that seamlessly links acquisition, computation, encoding, and control. Through software-hardware synergy, this solution fully unleashes the potential of 4K technology, providing multi-industry applications with stable, durable, and highly adaptable ultra-high-definition surveillance hardware solutions.
I. 8 million 4K native imaging, delivering stable high-definition video under all-weather and complex operating conditions.
As the core imaging component of the entire solution, the KC9440M all-in-one module is equipped with a 1/1.8-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor that natively delivers 3840×2160 standard 4K resolution at 8 million pixels. This sensor boasts maximum detail resolution, making it ideal for applications such as high-speed road license plate recognition, long-distance perimeter surveillance in industrial parks, and capturing fine-grained pedestrian flow details in commercial districts. With its wide-angle, full-field coverage combined with telephoto zoom capabilities for detailed analysis, this solution significantly reduces the number of 4K cameras required, thereby lowering both installation and maintenance costs. Its ultra-low-light performance ensures uninterrupted operation day and night: color sensitivity reaches 0.005 lux at F1.5, while black-and-white sensitivity can go as low as 0.0005 lux. Paired with an ICR infrared filter that automatically switches between day and night modes, this camera provides seamless imaging even in challenging environments such as dusk, rainy nights, or strong backlight conditions. The built-in multi-layer image optimization algorithms—including 120dB super-wide dynamic range, 3D noise reduction, electronic defogging, and gyroscope-based image stabilization—guarantee exceptionally clear and crisp images under adverse conditions like smog, headlight glare, and minor equipment vibrations, maintaining balanced light and shadow levels. The optical configuration features a 40x optical zoom lens with a focal length ranging from 6.8mm to 272mm, offering a horizontal field of view that can be freely adjusted from 56° down to 1.4°. Combined with a 12x digital zoom, this setup enables rapid and precise focusing on distant targets, perfectly meeting the demands of 4K stereoscopic monitoring that requires layered, multi-distance surveillance.
II. Powered by advanced deep-learning algorithms, 4K surveillance is upgraded from “being able to see” to “managing effectively.”
High-definition image quality is just the foundation—intelligent detection is the core of using 4K surveillance to reduce costs and boost efficiency. The KC9440M features a built-in deep-learning smart chip equipped with a comprehensive set of scene-specific AI recognition capabilities. In face capture mode, it can store up to five high-definition facial snapshots in a single session; its 4K resolution ensures that facial features are clear and easily comparable. Eight-zone privacy masking functionality is also seamlessly integrated, providing balanced security for crowded areas such as train stations, office buildings, and residential communities—offering both robust video evidence collection and effective information protection. A dedicated road-monitoring mode can be activated with a single click, precisely distinguishing between motor vehicles, non-motorized vehicles, and pedestrians, and instantly detecting anomalies such as speeding, lane occupation, and driving against traffic. Meanwhile, the device comes standard with over ten alarm rules—including area intrusion, boundary crossing, loitering and gathering, abandoned or picked-up objects, video obstruction, and audio abnormalities—covering a wide range of scenarios including industrial parks, border regions, buildings, and ports. When an anomaly is detected, an alert signal is immediately pushed out. Thanks to H.265’s efficient encoding, the device compresses the bitrate without compromising 4K image quality, thereby reducing bandwidth and hard-drive storage demands. The device offers multiple exposure settings and customizable white balance adjustments, making it compatible with various light sources—including daylight, streetlights, sodium lamps in factories, and indoor fluorescent lights—and ensuring optimal 4K imaging parameters are consistently maintained throughout the entire recording process.
III. The CM2004SH encoding control board provides enabling capabilities, establishing seamless channels for 4K signal transmission and remote control.
High-quality 4K images rely on stable intermediate transmission and precise control. The CM2004SH 12G-SDI encoding control board and the KC9440M are precisely matched to form a seamless 4K hardware link. The board supports up to 3840×2160P60 ultra-high frame rate output, with simultaneous signal output via both 12G-SDI and HDMI interfaces. It can be directly connected to command large screens, storage servers, decoders, and integrated dispatch platforms, meeting the needs of traffic command centers and large-scale security control rooms for multi-channel 4K video distribution and scheduling. The control system demonstrates outstanding compatibility, natively supporting dual-control protocols—RS485 and TTL—and offering expandable RS232C support. It is compatible with wireless remote controls and external physical buttons, and its universal protocol allows easy integration with pan-tilt units and high-speed dome cameras. When paired with the KC9440M core module, it enables precise remote control of zoom, pan, and focus adjustments. With 128 preset position memory slots, key viewpoints, and critical inspection locations, one-touch switching between views significantly enhances scheduling efficiency. A power-off memory mechanism ensures that operating parameters automatically restore upon power restart, eliminating issues such as position drift or reset settings, and supporting 7×24-hour uninterrupted monitoring operations. Its compact size measures just 50 mm.*50*5Hmm, it features a wide voltage supply of 9–12V, is lightweight and low-power, and can be easily embedded inside various custom monitoring devices.
IV. Dual hardware with high compatibility and easy integration, covering 4K upgrade application scenarios across all industries.
KC9440M body specifications: 65 x 71 x 149 mm; static power consumption: 5W, dynamic power consumption: 7W; standard DC12V power supply. It features a full range of expansion interfaces—including Ethernet port, RS485, audio input/output, alarm terminals, and Micro SD card (supporting up to 256 GB for local storage). The device is compatible with IPv4/IPv6, RTSP, and FTP network protocols, and seamlessly integrates with mainstream platforms such as ONVIF, Hikvision SDK, and Ezviz Cloud. It supports 20-channel video preview and 32-level hierarchical permission management, making it ideal for building large-scale distributed 4K surveillance networks. The combination of this module with the CM2004SH offers an exceptionally low integration threshold, enabling rapid deployment in high-speed dome cameras, pan-tilt cameras, vehicle-mounted surveillance systems, aerial observation equipment, and airborne aerial photography devices. It is perfectly suited for a wide range of mainstream 4K applications, including smart city security, intelligent highways, airports and ports, industrial and mining parks, and border surveillance. From front-end ultra-high-definition capture and AI analysis, through mid-range encoding, transmission, and remote control, to back-end platform storage and preview—this complete solution boasts perfectly matched parameters, stable operation, and no compatibility risks. Leveraging its mature hardware R&D capabilities, Kemorei provides a cost-effective and highly reliable core visual hardware solution for 4K intelligent transformation across various industries, based on the KC9440M + CM2004SH integrated solution.
